Surveys and Fields Measurements
EIH Estudio de Ingeniería Hidráulica S.A. is fully capable of managing all kind of surveys and field measurements thanks to its state of the art equipment and its highly qualified and trained personnel. Our ever growing experience was gathered throughout the years in more than fifteen large scale field surveys and numerous smaller surveys. These surveys consisted mainly of environmental measurements (determination of DO, BOD, QOD, pH, Redox, temperature, etc.), bathymetric, planialtimetric, hydrographic, hydrosedimentologic, and geophysics surveys. In order to carry out these studies EIH Estudio de Ingeniería Hidráulica S.A. has the following means:

HYDROMETRIC MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT

EIH Estudio de Ingeniería Hidráulica S.A has equipment that enables us to measure:
 
  • Levels
  • Bathymetry
  • Tides
  • Currents
  • Sediments in water
  • Hydrometeorological parameters
  • Environmental parameters

TOPOGRAPHIC MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT

It consist of differential GPS, teodolithes, levels, sextants, telemeters, automatic distance meters, sextants, and auxiliary equipment.
GEOPHYSICS EQUIPMENT
Continuous reflection seismic profiler, seismograph, auxiliary equipment and electric generators.
POSITIONING EQUIPMENT
GPS with two ground stations for differential work, DGPS receptors, also EIH has developed its own software, the "Navegador" specially designed to program and follow pre stablished routes.

 

SEDIMENTOLOGY LABORATORY

It is equipped to perform several essays in order to determine granulometries, and concentrations. To do this it counts with electronic precision scales (a tenth of a milligram), a constant temperature oven, sieves and tubes for wet granulometry test (BW method).

 

With this equipment EIH Estudio de Ingeniería Hidráulica S.A. has carried out the following surveys among others:
